Let's assume Neil started with 0 points. The most points he could possibly get is 100, the least being 0.

Anyway...

Neil starts with 0. In total, he had 101 points added to his total, and 2 subtracted. 101 - 2 = 99.

You were in no position to say I was wrong until you had asserted what sort of scheme I was using. It might make **** all sense to you, but to me it makes perfect sense. Also, seeing as I am "me" and you are "you"... I win. For the record, the first year I sat the SATs I qualified in Maths only. Second year, I qualified in both.
