Does anyone know of cure or cause.. When I turn on the TV a 18mth old 32" Black Diamond the set emits a high pitched for 30-45 seconds.. then it stops (the noise)..this only started happening last week.. Any suggestions..?

It would be hard to guess without hearing it myself but usually people refer to the high pitch (15.6KHz to be precise) that the horizontal scan circuits make.
I can hear a TV working (when muted of course...:D ) just by picking that noise.

It's weird that it stops after a while but maive it has something with one of the components getting to a work temperature.
