    Anybody got any ideas how I can delete a service that I no longer want on my machine??

    SC delete <servicename>

    right click my computer > manage >services and apps > services > and kill microsoft

    ... or you could just run 'services.msc', but you can't delete services from there, just disable them.

    Disabling the service is no bother, but I want to completely remove it

    resource kit allows u to manually remove and add services
