Dropped line, default connection changed

When ever my 56k modem gets a dropped line and i try to reconnect, the default connection (to UTVIP) is no longer the UTVIP. When I go into settings, none of my 3 different connection numbers are the default. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

No, I have 3 dial up connections.
Eircom, UTV (new) and UTV (old)
I should delete the old one.

UTV (new) is my default connection. And when i use the computer normally, it remains the default. But if the line is dropped, and i then try to reconnect, the is no default connection. and it just goes to the eircom number (probably because that was the first one setup on the computer)
