What to do about idiots online?

I was on a server there today called Adslguide.org.uk and I came across a clan called TK. Unbelievable, 3 of them were just killing everyone on their own team, it completely destroyed the fun of the game when everytime you respawned you were shot in the back by one of these TK players. So I started slagging them off and telling them to F off, after a few minutes one of them responded and said they liked killing their own teammates because normal play is boring .... f*cking idiots



anyway, is there anything that can be done to guys that do this? I tried using the "game.votekickplayer 8" but it didnt work. I never tried kicking anyone before so I dunno if I was doing it right

I notice they seem only to come out in force on DC servers...I've playued BF1942 vanilla for a good while now and rarely come across muppets in large extent but for the 1st time (d-load took a while) i played DC online (had played offline for weeks with old version) anyway my first game was nothing but muppets on the US team crashing bombers and tking with helicopters etc etc.


So why is it mostly DC??

Because its like CS with jellycopters. As for TK and clans like them there's very little you can do other than try and play on policed servers.

Lads its all about finding good clan servers especially those which aoto kick guys after set amount of tk.
We have this on our DOD clan server and works a treat.
If you tk 3 times ur kicked but if you apologise the guys u just killed has a popup menu giving him choice to forgive or not.
If you tk 3 times thats it your kicked and have bout 20-30 minute ban if you comeback and do it again your banned,it works great .
I know some BF clan servers use a similar feature but it doesnt give the forgive option :(but still weeds out the muppets.

DUnno about MoH, but DC/BF1942 is defo MUCH worse than CS has ever been, never had any major problems with TK'ers in CS, while in my few ventures on-line in BF/DC Ive met about twice as manyTK'ers in (literally) about 100 times the play time. (prolly more than 100 times actually)

is there anyway of finding someone's IP address? I mean anyway ?? One of my favorite servers are the 'adslguide.org.uk' but today was a nightmare. This one guy 'Hunnybunny' came in and just killed everyone on his own team.. the voting system in this game is woefull and nomatter how many times we tried, we could not kick him. Ended up he had -64 points at the end of the game :mad:

yea, i too have had terrible games of dc because of team killers. The solution is easy, servers have to leave the 3 teamkick thingey
on, whenever i kill anybody in lan games im kicked (whenever i do it, its USA style friendly fire)

TK are a real pain but another thing I don't get on DC servers is why everyone wants to be on the american side.

I played a bit earlier and to some point it came to 5 axis against 17 Allies...
and no one wanted to change side.

auto-balance and kicking TK scripts should be compulsory on DC servers.

I always like to change to the underdog team its more fun and im a strong player so i can turn the tide (or at lest I like to think so). i hate being on the team that floors the other (less action).

Well, it would be of my opinion that it is. Too many TKs happen as the TK'er in question is not looking at their Radar. The Radar shows up all your team mayes around you, it shows them flying planes, driving cars and tanks. It was made to not only to show you where objects are on the map but to also show you where your team-mates are, therefore reducing TK's. The problem is people just dont refer to it as much as they should. Also there is an influx of muppets, something we cant stop

Once CD-Key banning comes in now in the next patch though, it will slow the TK's down. Who wants to get a CD-Key Ban from their local server?


Also, better vote bans and vote kicks in the next patch should also fix the problem. EA/Dice have been looking into the whole TK problem as far as i know, hence the CD Key banning and the like. Bring on v1.45

well that's all well and good, but there is the whole Fog O War and the fact that your characters arrow disappears under the flag symbol on the map, I always find that one a bitch. Anyway im not a big team killer, in my case its always more like the people I kill are committing suicide by teammate. Real TK'ers (people that mean to do it) are ta suck and should have their computers run over by a lorry

I would support the removing of 1/2 their fingurs, makign it a hard task to actucully click the mouse, therefor removing the fun of clicking the mouse and replacing it with pain.

Or ..... pluck out a "man" hair everytime they TK. Would be both painful and money making. You could make a lot of money broadcasting "TK'er gets plucked!" ... i reccomend the nice round figure of €2.99 per show, payable by credit card or cheque to the following address:

to be honest. There is very little we can currantly do with muppets on servers besides a kick or ban. Hopefully with upcoming patches EA/Dice will fix this little annoying phenomenon. "do, do, do, do, do, do. Phenomenon. do, do, do, do..."

I think its cos DC is newish. When BF42 first came out, there was a lot of TKers about.
Also, it 'cos the DC servers aren't moderated that much. I've been on lots of moderated BF42 servers (GOD servers are actually the best), and its nice. No TKers. 8)

As i am the expert here on team killing i suggest we ok may be a bit harsh but cut off their hands and selatape big green bars to their limbs and then i think the best thing to do would be ( if their guys) Grab their dick and run it through a cheese grater and then pour salt and pepper on it then chop it off and stick it down their neck, and what you get is a sort of BATTERD SAUSAGE effect!

Or this one i was playing wake island and i had just got up the beach which was heavily defended by loads of guys when i just killed them all and thought i was in the clear i was running towards the main flag ( i was the japps ) the one with the airfield when this asshole one my team thought it wud be funny through his grenades at me he is such a little basterd coz it turns out we were the only two alive on our team to get a flag which we needed to get to respawn!!!

So there you have it my feature length storey of how i became to loath team killers!!!
