    OS: Win 2k
    Amd xp2100
    home made

I'm having an odd problem with win2k on my pc.
Have done an install recently and everything seemed fine, but one day it rebooted (auto reboot was on) out of the blue. and then refused to start, t kept rebooting as soon as it started.
I took this opertunity to remove some stuff from the machine (hardware wise) as i was meaning to do it for ages, and after i did the problem seemed to dissapear. Now it only happenes now and again, out of the blue. The computer could be idle and it would reboot or I could be encoding a fideo and dito.
    Any help?

turn off "automatically reboot" in system properties..

and post the blue screen message or error number..

usually excellent pointers to the problem
