Slow scrollbar on some sites

    Why is my scrollbar so slow to respond on forum sites? Can I do anything about it?:eek: :eek:

    Independent / Unison / memberpages on lycos.co.uk have a nasty piece of server side tracking code on their pages that may be reason for what you have observed.

    Their privacy statement in my eyes is in adequate when they place this code on their site.

    Some suggested solution for you:
    Try visiting the site with javascript disable in your browser settings.

    Upgrade your browser 6.0 and get the IE5.5 add on's that have a feature to add certain sites like "server-uk.imrworldwide.com" to your restricted sites.

    Put your hosts file on your PC to use and block these external sites from loading.
