where to buy .22 rounds?

i assume this goes here...anyway. im in south tipp - does anyone know where to get a good brand but cheap couple of boxes of .22 rounds for a rifle? any info's appreciated

South Tipp? Urk. That's a bit out of the way. Are you looking for match grade bullets or just varmint-hunting bullets though? (i.e for Target Shooting or Fox Hunting? )

mainly varmint hunting...there must be some place down this neck of the woods? eg waterford? i looked but couldnt seem to find anywhere...just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere good

Hmmm. 'fraid not off the top of my head spike. Closest I can think of would be McBrides but they're up near athlone.
