Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Bolton have got themselves an absoulute GEM and im shocked jardel didnt go to a way better club.This guy has a scoring record in portugal like larrson does in scotland and it makes me feel Bolton arent going down. Jardel:31 Brazilan former clubs porto galatasery sporting lisbon. most amount of goals in a season 42.

    Sam Allardyce really can work the transfer market, Jardel is a great striker. Thats basically what Bolton were missing last year - a goalscorer. I think Bolton won't be having the same trouble in the PL this season.

    jardel was on fire for porto a few seasons ago. if he plays half as good as that for bolton he'll be netting 15+ this year. okacha, djorkajef and jardel! not a bad side.

    Jardel suffered from depression last season and had a divorce from his wife .

    That's why he was released and also why no-one else came in for him .

    Still if he can get himself right mentally he'll bang them in . He's lethal in the air and alright on the ground too !!

    Hoep he doesn't make their first game !!

    Excellent signing - would have been nice to see him in the premiership at his prime.

    If Jardel, Djorkaeff and Okocha can all pull together they could be one to watch at some point this season (they'll at least have a good patch:) )

    Kudos to Sam on a bit of a coup. Granted he's gone off the rails personally but I reckon he will really suit the Prem.

    An absolutely wonderful signing, provided Jardel can keep his head straight.

    He's really suited to the premiership given that he's a big strong lad who's as able to finish with his head as he is with his feet.

    I can't wait to watch Bolton with him leading the line.
