    Who has this silver remote control & what is it used for?

    Is it for the silver STB or for Digital MMDS or what?



    Also, ntl: home in the UK are to bring out a new remote which controls the TV as well as the STB. I wonder if They'll bring it over here ?????

    Yep, the numbers come up as you type them in on the purple header. Are you sure that youst to happen for you ?

    Until this new update (v5.36) the purple header with the channel number only appeared after a valid 3 digit channel number was entered. Now the header appears with the first number key pressed and displays the numbers as they are entered in unison with the STB display.
