Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Eircom ADSL Problems?

    Hi,
    I was just wondering if anyone else with Eircom ADSL (maybe RADSL too) is having some problems with speeds and pings this weekend? On my 1MBit connection I'm struggling to get 30KB/sec, and am getting up to 10% packetloss to the first eircom router.
    Ping statistics for 159.134.155.4:
    Packets: Sent = 257, Received = 239, Lost = 18 (7% loss),
    Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 56ms, Maximum = 2697ms, Average = 89ms

    I was onto Eircom and they say that they're restricting some traffic this weekend to stop the blaster virus and to see if things were back to normal tomorrow, but surely blocking blaster wouldnt cause packetloss and slow speeds?

    Brendan

    speeds have been fine for me and pings also.

    My line de-syncing problem has gone mental tho, but i reckon thats unrelated to the network as a whole.

    I did notice on Friday afternoon I was on a client site that had eircom's 1 meg Adsl. The speed was pretty slow, about 20KBps. At that time I shrug it off as being someone on the network downloading
