    just went to galway today and found 5pk+ 5 free parkardbell dvd+rw in currys headford rd. for €24.99, they also had 5pk+ 5 free of dvd+r for €22.99 :)

    p.s dont know how much stock they have left (i bought 2 packs of dvd+r and a pack of dvd+rw's ;)

    why whats better + or - ?

    TBH I don't think theres a huge difference between the two standards. Neither format seems to be making leaps and bounds over the other so we'll just have to wait to see which one will win out. Microsoft have started backing '+' and as far as I know Dell machines are shipped with them as well so that might just give '+' a nudge over its counterparts. The best solution thou' would be to buy a writer which supports all formats +/-/RAM, that way you don't lose out.

    thanks for that, i just needed to know, i'll be getting a dvd burnner soon and i was unclear on that point
