You didn't need to post this to see the effect of the spoiler tag.
You can test out how your post will look before posting.
You can do this with the
    preview button
to see what your posts will look like before submitting them.

While I have your attention, check out this post. I mean the nerve of this guy! He has the temerity to come on these boards and casually admit to breaking into people's houses!

I think the government needs to get tough on crime.

Apparently this menace to society doesn't even like dogs. At least if he liked dogs I could consider that he may have some redeeming qualities. But no! He has the audacity to express a quite vitriolic dislike for these wonderful animals.

I think this guy needs to be locked up and the key thrown away.
Having said that though, his site is really cool!

How do you get the spoiler thingy to work?

[php]To create text that you want to be visible only
when selected, enclose it with these tags:
    Eg:
    Shazam!
    [/php]

    Result is...
    Shazam!

Why would I want to have a spoiler?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 622 ✭✭✭ColinM

So that if they like, people can choose to read what you have written even after you have given a warning that they may not want to read it.

For example, you may be discussing a film you have just seen but in order to do so you may give away plot lines that would ruin the film for someone planning to go see it.

Ah, now I see what you mean.

    Ex-cell-ent

Hey, I see you took my tip about adding URL tags around the A4 link in your sig. You ought to post some more photos in the motors forum. The venue really looks well as a backdrop to the car.

    Anyway, off topic I know.
