AXA gave me the best quote (personally). From others I hear good things about Quinn Direct, and Eaglestar (and they "Ladystar" insurance).

    http://www.123.ie is very handy though.

O Neill Insurances in Bandon, Cork. (023) 41371

    They're excellent for female quotes.

I'm 23, 2 yrs ncb driving a 1.3 starlet and I'm paying €600 3rd party which is at least €400 less than what I was getting elsewhere

Eagle Star (Lady Star) have always given me the most comprehensive quote.
I've found them to be the best for me over the past 3/4 years.
This year I found someone who undercut them slightly and they lowered their price to keep my custom. So I was impressed.

take advise and stay clear of quinn direct
they will go to great lenghts to back out of paying
should you be unlucky and have a prang
they are the only company in ireland to charge you for fully comp
insurance and not cover your windscreen
you will pay the first €350 on any claim
they will quote anybody but be carefull
i had a nasty claim with them
visit any of the windscreen replacements companies and they will
    tell you about them
    sorry about the lenghty post
    cheers digitalfone:mad:
