Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

HENRY and the FA

Seems like Henry is getting reported to the F.A. for his bare chested goal celebrations on Saturday. While I'm not a gunners fan (CFC) it does seem to be a bit unfair - every week , somebody does a similar thing at the matches yet rarely do they get done - it will be interesting to see if JFH will receive a similar report for his celebrations after yesterdays game v Liverpool (yee ha).
The FA & FIFA should worry more about diving, ref intimidation etc than harmless goal celebrations (from this season it is also not allowed to have a t-shirt under the strip that displays a message).

stupid, thats what it is, he blew a kiss to his family who were at the everton end, the fa thought it was intimidating the everton fans. leave arsenal alone for gods sake. every week someone's in hot water.

That's as may be. It could have been construed as incitement to riot, not only is that a No No in the premiership but it is illegal. Maybe if he gets a fine and a ban his ff price will come down a bit :)

well in that case scoring the goal would be just as harmfull and could be looked upon as incitment to riot

its getting ridiculas at this stage that arsenal players always seem to land themselves into trouble while other players ( jfh ) get away with it yet again

i think now football fans realise that all is not well between arsenal and the FA

I believe the FA have seen sense and have said no action will be takenagainst henry but Arsenal will be warned for the future. Its stupid if players are to be punished for celebtrating scoring a goal even if it does break some petty rule.

it is a stupid rule, it all started with ravanelli a good few years ago. I think forlan got booked for it last season as well when he couldn't get his shirt back on in the villa or southampton match.

I think it really should be ok as long as you don't go running over to the opposing supporters, which is what henry did as his wife was sitting there. It really is a case to get them to sit elsewhere

It just typical of the FA, Avoid the problem by pointing the finger at the Players. Everton fans threw sh1t at Henry, why is that not reported to the FA.

That git Rob Styles said on Soccer AM at the weekend that they were under instruction to cut down on goal celebrations. Its a FIFA instruction, not just the FA.

What annoyed me about it was the ref on Saturday (who otherwise had a good game) reported Henry but didn't book him at the time. If its an offence, he (the ref) should know the penalty, and apply it on the day.

This will only reinforce the Goons sense of persecution.

Now the international refs are getting in on the act. Pennant was sent off in the england u 21 tonight. More ammon for those supporting the conspiracy theory.;)
