Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Govt announces trial of broadband electricity wires

The Government has announced plans to conduct a trial of broadband electricity wires in the Tuam area of Co Galway over the coming months.

The trial will be conducted in association with the ESB and is designed to test the technology on homes, schools and businesses in the area.

The Government said the use of broadband electricity wires could create a new infrastructure to compete with telephone, cable and wireless networks.
