Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Quote from a friend who is trying to order from E****N
One other thing I forgot to mention is that they said that the monthly rental goes up with each additional user, which will put costs up. As we'll have three users potentially, this would put it over x per month?

Eh? If you're using their combined ethernet/usb modem with a router, how the F$%£" will they know?

    .....

Could be based on the number of real/static IPs they give you?

    Teeth.

If you're using a router with NAT then all Eircom can see is your router so there is no way for them to know how many computers you have connected. I don't see why it should matter anyway you have a limited amount of bandwith and no matter how many computers you connect you can't exceed the capacity of your line.

... thought so, and it may be a multiple IP charge. Eircon muppets strike again ...

Its a support issue, they say 1 for basic packages, 3 pcs for the second and as many as you want for hte most expensive one.
They don't actually go around and check but if you ever have a problem you won't get help if you got more than their recommended amount of computers attached to it.
