Can someone tell me what copllege does teaching courses.
I know St. PAts is for primary scool teaching, but what is the one for second level. Or do you just do an Arts degree or something like that to get into teaching.

It depends on what you want to teach in secondary school.

You can do an Arts degree followed by a HDip selecting 2 subjects. Or else you can go do a course specifically for becoming a teacher in a specified subject.
e.g. UL do P.E, Tech Graphics / Metalwork and Science teaching.

I think they also have HDip courses for teaching Business Studies for ppl who did the Degree in Business.

    To put it simply:
BA (3 years) + HDE (1 year) = Second level teacher

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
