Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondered if anyone else has the same problem?

/me thinks they installed a new proxy and forgot to set the client type passthrough correctly so windows update thinks that your not on a windows machine, hence displays:-

Thank you for your interest in Windows Update

Windows Update is the online extension of Windows that helps you get the most out of your computer.

The latest version of Windows Update is available on computers that are running Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows 2000 (except Windows 2000 Datacenter Server), Windows XP, and the Windows Server 2003 family.

    [Been there done that :O]

Update.microsoft.com has been taken down to prevent the attack or any further attacks. You can access it through Eircom because they have set up a mirror to the update site so their customers can still get critical updates.

    There are 2 sites:-

    windowsupdate.com

This one was target by the virus.

    windowsupdate.microsoft.com

This one. the real windows update site (the one I was trying to access) was not.

    Anyways its back now.
