Got a present of a double dvd - "The History of Australian Rock and Roll". Absolutely brilliant, goes from the fifties right up to the Birthday Party, Saints, Triffids, Kylie, dance, tribute bands, INXS, Silverchair, and the man himself, Paul Kelly.

Very next day on my way to work I see posters everywhere for Mr Kelly. Can't say I was terribly familiar with his work up to now, but I've just got a loan of a greatist hits from a girl in work, and if you like singer-songwriters, don't miss him in the intimate surroundings of Whelans. I doubt he'd play anywhere that small back home.
