3510i Sim Card problems!

I got a 3510i a few months ago. It worked fine for a while but now I'm getting SIM card registration failed messages coming up every so often, even sometimes while I'm on a call. Usually powering off the phone seems to sort it out(Not always, then I remove battery). Anyone had similar problems? Wondering is it the phone or…

It's an O2 billed phone. I've heard this is not an isolated problem.

I had the same problems with a 3510 (not 3510i). It happened after I dropped it. It did drop onto concrete, but from about a foot. It's stopped doing it now.

Oh, and it sometimes also said "Insert SIM Card", even if it had been on for a while.

Sounds to me like ur sim card reader is faulty, can be replaced at any nokia service centre and will be under warranty if bought in last yr..
