Janet access wont make it much better.
You might be able to play the college guys but the main servers are in the wider internet, and the janet connect here sucks.

DNA are supposed to be getting an INEX (the Irish internet exchange) connect soon (or their upstream provider is I think) which would make it viable for you guys to play on our servers. It will also attract more people to use DNA as their ISP as most ISPs here suck and the only reason I dont switch today is that I would like it to be INEX connected first.

    Devore,
you would be the only one wanting to SWITCH to dnet LOL
Most of the good quakers have left due to the fact that it's pants..
    actually, make that ALL..
thru dialup, u get huge pl bursts, ad high pings even on v.90 (190 at times) and its so unstable.
their modems have lucent chipsents and are just pityfull at v.90

Of course their story is "Its your end"
    But its not
Most of the NI team have pace modems and get a steady 115-130 anywhere else ie BW.

    Thier bloody liars
    Another thing
they put the biggest pile of cack on their servers
    look at the maps sometime.
