Buying a DELL Inspiron. 8500 or 8600??

Ok. I've got myself down to these two laptops.

The Dell Inspiron 8600 or 8500...

Both are very similar except that the 8600 is INtel Centrino and the 8500 P4 Mobile....

I'm wondering if the added featurees of Centrino with its low voltage(and 1GHZ less processing power) is worth it.

I want a laptop that is power conservative and light.

The Inspiron is huge but the LAtitudes fail alot(or so i hear)...

Any suggestions(I'm not looking for a POWER PC in a laptop that needs a trailor to carry around)

Definately the Centrino as it has the longer battery, they(Intel) say 5 hours battery ...
Only one problem though, you get a huge, bulky, ugly, Dell Inspiron laptop.

Shouldn't be too hard to pick one up.
