Problem dialing up UTV

    Has anyone had this problem and resolved it.

    When dialing UTV (Free) the remote modem and my modem do not seem to be talking.

    I get connected and whale song up to the point just before the Username/Password authorisation. Then nothing (this is where the whale song would stop normally) The data light flicks once and no more. (would be flashing at this stage). The connection eventually disconnects. If i let it disconnect on it own the chance of connection on the next retry is about 60%. Otherwise about 5%.

    I have no problem connecting to other ISP i.e. Eircon.

    I was on the blower to there Tech Support and they recommend enabling the Microsoft networking option in the Dial Up option.

    I did this but no change.

    I upgraded to the latest drivers for my modem with no joy.

    I am running Xp
    The modem is a USB Creative Modem Blaster.

    Any ideas ??????????
