Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

maybe the wrong forum, but couldn't think of a more appropriate one.

I need to send some flowers on behalf of my partner, to one of her collegues, who has been diagnosed with cancer. I don't want to make any boo boo's like sending white lilies (white lilies are for funerals). What would be most appropriate?

would flowers be the right thing to do anyway? She would like to convey a message of "have courage", or "hang in there" or something similar.

    any suggestions?

    thanks in advance.

best thing to do is to ask a florist. they know best which flowers to send for what.

I have to do this through interflora, as the florist in town is not a real florist, but an interflora agent. The kid who mans the till, well I would not really trust his advice....

Hmm, carnations are always pretty, or maybe something like freesias cos they always smell wonderful. To put it bluntly, it depends on how much you want to spend. Personally, I'd think in terms of colours - yellows, peaches and pinks are all happy, uplifting kinds of colours, nothing too heavy, you know what I mean?

I ordered a bunch of Yellow (orangy) flowers. I did ask the 'florist' for advice, but all I got was a blank look.
