Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

keane's been in numerous fights, etc

morrision spent the night in jail for suspected drugs offences

    bellamy's been up in court

woodgate and bowyer have been too (but hay bowyer's not racist, he'd stamp on anybody's head)

they're young lads with a lot of money, they act like young lads around the country

the kennedy incident wasnt exceptional, it was bad, but stuff like that has happened before, and players have still gone on

and im sorry but it did show how much you knew about football, not knowing who those players were, they're wolves stalwarts

It was exceptional because he was on duty with he's international side, at least all the players you have mentioned are good, apart from morrison who always looks like he's on drugs!

I thought it was actually a good finish, but it didn't look the best. Still does not take away from the fact that he is a very average player.

I never said that he was below average I myself think he can be very s**t sometimes he can be very nervous infront of goals

Kleberson was crap anyway, he'd want to do more than that if he wants to impress Ferguson at any point. Ronaldo didn't do as well as I thought he might.

    No-one shouting about a 10-0 result now though :)

When you take Giggs, Scholes and Keane out of the midfield and replace them with three new signings they are always going to struggle to find some rythm. The difference was obvious when Scholes and Giggs came on. Wolves were penned back for the rest of the game apart from one chance on the break.

Also United have always found it difficult to break down teams who play 10 across the back at Old Trafford.

While it was a brutal game to watch, if Wolves had scored the big guns would have been brought on and IMO United were always going to get the win.

Wolves have a good few injuries at the moment so they shouldn't be written off yet. They need Kenny Miller back to get a few goals for them, and it wouldn't do any harm to have Mark Kennedy, Ndah and Lescott back too....

Poor enough showing but not really surprising considering team selection. It will take the new players a while to get used to things as was evident a few times with 2 players going for the same nball on occasion. We still got our 3 points after all so i would not be to upset by the result.

I tink Ferguson picked that team taking a big gamble thinking that they could win the game but he got worried near the end and brought on Giggs and Scholes

United were ****e. Complete and utter toss.

The midfield was non existant exceopt for when it was giving the ball away. Solskjaer and Ronaldo needed to tuck in more as Kleberson and Djemba were totally overrun by the 5 man wolves midfield. The only Man U player i thought played decent was Keane, the rest did sfa.
The defence had no cover and if wolves had even managed a coupled shot on goal they probably would have scored. However if they had scored i would still have thought united could have won it.

When Scholes and Giggs came on there was a much better understanding in the midfield and Wolves wer epegged back. In injury time tho Wolves pegged man u back again tho and i did get a little worried.

Ronaldo has great skill but needs to learn to pass it more and do simple things. He also needs to gel with the rest of the team. (goes for all the new players)

Whats the problem. They gave a few players a game that needed it. They won the game.
Wolves played well I thought and you have to give them some credit. They could have come away with a deserved result.
So it wasn't a big win but it's a win all the same.

Yeh ur right Wolves could of got something out of it but when u see Charlton beating them four-nil Man U should have atleast matched it even with a very different looking team

I don't mean this to sound condescending to Wolves or their supporters, but the "smaller" teams always raise their game against the top teams like ManU/Arsenal etc .... so in response to kmart6, just because Charlton beat them, doesn't mean that United should/will do the same.

IMO, United were pure sh1t, but as was said before .... a win's a win!!

p.s. Fergie did say in his after match interview that he had made too many changes to the starting line-up.

When a team looses a match 5-1 and 4-0 what do you think they are going to do in their next match. Defend. If there nxt match happens to be Against Man U at old trafford then they are going to defend with their lives. Its very hard to beat a team that play 10 accross the back, no matter how good are bad they are. Wolves knew they couldn't beat Utd if they attacked them so they just crowded the midfield and defence and well done to them.

When they played at home to Charlton then thats a Different story. They will need to be beating teams like Charlton to stay in the league. In order for them to beat Charlton they need to attack them and hence leave holes in the back. Wolves are on a learning curve and they were taught 2 valuable lessons and they learned from it.

With regards to Utd. As Alan Hansen always say, A sign of a good team is a team that plays badly and Wins. These are the games that win Leagues. 3 points and a clean sheet happy days.
