Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

subscribed thread 2 emails per post?

    when someone posts to a thread i have subscribed to,

    i get 2 emails for 1 post ?
    been happening past few days

    No duplicate entries in the database to explain that one or anything like that. Bear in mind that certain posters like to post, then delete, then post again (instead of just editing), which is two posts as far as the notification process is concerned. So, this can appear to be happening on one thread, but in fact it's just happening for a certain user ...

    (Weirdly enough, you don't seem to have email updating turned on from my perspective).

    i will turn off all settings and put them back on
    see does it make any difference

    that problem has now turned into 3 emails per post!

    Is it just one thread? Are you sure this isn't just one or maybe two posters doing the delete/repost thing I said before? (I've been plagued by this in the past by someone who made a habit of doing that). Give me a link to the thread(s) and I can check it out.

    man still happens with email notification turned on or off
