Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Scholes is going to be out for over a month as he has to have a hernia operation. This could be costly as Butt,Giggs(hamstring)Silvestre(ankle) and Fortune(groin strain),it leaves Ferguson with a weakened midfield and defence.Midfield Ronaldo,Kleberson and Djemba-Djemba to fill in.

are you sure giggs is out? He looked fine to me against Wolves.

    From Ferguson
"It is really painful and at the moment it is not possible for him to play two games in a week"

"He will need an operation at some point but we will have to pick our moment"

I don't see how that means he is currently out for a month.

well to be honest even if united have a bad month with all these players missing they are only gonna come back later on in the season.

Fergie is blasting the FA but what I don't understand is why didn't he just rest Scholes against Newcastle? as he knew there was a prob with his hernia

Giggs only had that problem just before the match and it wasn't an injury. He had a bit of tightness in his hamstring. That was all. Nothing serious. He will be playing next match.

And scholes will be too according to Sky Sports even though he needs a hernia operation.

Scholes will need an operation but not yet it seems. Giggs, Silvestre and Rio were all carrying injuries into the wolves game but were rested. All are expected to make the trip to St Marys on Sun. Scholes will be a huge loss but it will give the new boys a chance to shine
