Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Movies or Expanded Universe?

    I recently came to realize that I like the Star Wars movies, they're good, even the new one's, contrary to popular opinion. One of my favourite moment's in movie history is when Luke breaks out the lightsaber on Jabba's barge. Get's me right here...sniff :o

    But, I prefer the expanded universe(eu). The comics, the games, and especially the books. When I first saw the films, I knew I had to have more, and more there was, now when I look at the films, there's something slightly lacking in them. It's just not as good as the EU.

    Just wondering if anyone else feels the same? Speak up fans, tell boards how you feel? Vote now, Lucas needs you!!

    I think you might need another category in the poll. I don't prefer one over the other. The movies got my attention years ago, I remember one of the high points of Christmas was looking through the film listings to see which films would be shown and hoping that one of them would be star wars. The movies were great, they had to be, to inspire an expanded universe which has kept up the interest. I don't think I can say that the movies or the EU are better, one is nothing without the other.
