im looking for some editing app that will allow me to take 1 minute sequence out of a mpeg video and save it as another mpeg dont mention any windows movie maker crap either :-) looking for real app

TMPGEnc (do a google) will allow you to do that sort of thing, if I remember correctly... you may have to dig into the "MPEG tools" menu though...

Also, I know that VirtualDub will at least _open_ MPEG-1 files; maybe it'll save them too?
