    Coming hot on the heels (well, after two years) of the last Discworld Con we have Discworld Convention 2004. This is happening in the UK in August 2004 (full details behind the link) and it will be four days of Discworld events, personalities, fans etc. etc.

    The hotel is lovely, the committee are wonderful, we'll have around one hundred events and yes, Terry will be there.

    If anyone else would be up for it, it'd be cool for people from this forum to go over and join the Ankh-Morpork people in being natural born spectators at what'll no doubt be a kewl event.

    What do you mean by packages? Unfortunately travel to the convention is totally under the control of the attendees, however once you become a member of the con (all happily doable securely online) you can book your hotel rooms online.

    There are concessionary memberships for students, OAPs and the unemployed, but no group rates that I'm aware of.

    What exactly are you looking for?
