Setting up O2 Text Bundles on a Siemens Phone

    I was just trying to set up O2's new Text Bundle service on my Siemens SL45, and
    it turns out that it can't be done, or at least I cant see how it can be done. I
    eventually set it up by putting my SIM in a friends Nokia.

    Here is the problem, when you dial *105# on a Nokia, you get a proper text
    message back that you then answer with either a 1 or a 2. However on my Siemens
    (and on every other Siemens phone I have used) you get back a scrolling line of
    text along the bottom of your screen (this is how Siemens interpert Flash Text),
    therefore when you go to dial 1 or 2 to select that you want to set up the serivce
    you end up actually dialing the number 1 or 2 (or whatever quickdial number that
    may be on that key).

    Has anyone else had this problem, and more to the point do they know how to get
    round it without have to resort to actually using another phone?

    I called O2 and they just assumed that I was an idiot that was not able to use my
    phone.
