Not sure if this is the right place for this, but I've received 3 emails in the last day or 2 all from Microsoft (security@microsoft.com)

    It reads as follows

Dear friend , use this Internet Explorer patch now!
There are dangerous virus in the Internet now!
    More than 500.000 already infected!

There is an attachment called patch.exe
Needless to say I haven't run it, but my NAV which has up to date definitions is NOT telling me it's a virus???

Can anybody shed any light on this?

I have just viewed the message source and found the return path is

    admin@duma.gov.ru

I then googled this and found this

Needless to say, I will NOT be installing the patch
