Do you mind me asking what age you are ?

That portfolio of yours is quite impressive. Thats something im always jealous of is the creative edge on graphics.

Very nice flash work on http://www.davidstokes.com/site/5/

Also, am I right in seeing that your background image (25.jpg) is 188kb ??

    That's not what I ment.
Some people are browsing with large text format.
By using CSS it will always look the same.
    Try it.
Go to View-->Text Size in IE

Perhaps some more content ie. a request my CV page or blog or something. I've got a similiar site at www.anthonymcg.com. Nice work.

you will have to reduce the size of that watermark, people are not gona hand about waiting for it to load

    Veyr nice!

The title for the pages your FLASH movies load in refer to Swish - I'd remove that code.

    SWiSH Movie - dos.swi - www.swishzone.com

Do you use Flash or SWISH 2?

NeVeR, yer flash & graphics are done very well, and the site is easy to navigate. As you are using the site as an "Online CV", you needn't have a low quality version, as anybody viewing the site (eg; possible employer), will only want to see great quality pictures, which you have.

Another thing - change the links to your web templates to # as on some of them the link goes nowhere.

By adding # into the link bar the page reloads itself.

To be honest, your work isn't anything special. If you want to be a designer go to college and get a proper design education.

Looks like you've learned software without the fundamental skills behind it.

    Take a look at this:
    http://www.designers-network.com/creativedesign/personal/

    That's what you're competing with I'm afraid.

There is notting wrong with having a hobbie, I play golf that doesnt mean I am a professional golfer and need to get lessons.

I cant see what he's competing with - I'm not hunting through links to see some work.

He's got some good work, and if the customer is happy with his work thats all he needs.

I didnt like the blue sidebar graphics. gradients are hard to do in web graphics until png is properly adopted. cool site. i like the work. not so fond of some of your colour schemes, but thats just me.
