    I'm buying a laptop and the idea of using it as a portable TV seems entertaining...

    Do PCMIA TV Tuner cards exist? Any idea how much they cost?

    I could be 100% wrong but I never heard of a PCMCIA tv tuner.
    Why not look into getting a USB tv tuner. I think Hauppauge do them.
