I cant help but stay skeptical, though. this is one of many announcements sony have made on the psp, but there has been NOTHING solid yet, except the media discs they showed (which we dont know for sure have the capacity they claim they do).

next theyll tell us its more powerful than the xbox 2 and you can play mario on it

It was thought that the console was just a bit more powerful than the original Playstation, however recent reports have stated that its actually under the Playstation 2 in terms of power.
