Wghy not do it where you are- and save the ins file to a floppy.
Insert into parents machine, double click said ins file, and off you go...

    1892 150 150

    Primary DNS: 150.134.237.6
    Secondary DNS: 159.134.248.17

Any username and pass you like.

Not sure if the DNS no's are absolutely necessary, but those are what a tech support biddy gave me some months back when asking the same question.

yep, those are what i used to setup an €ircon conn, which in turn enabled me to re-setup my utvip conn after recent install of new hdd.

    definitely 56k here. ;)

Basically at the end of a sign up process- an option is normally givenm to download your internet settings...
I have attached an ins file- you can edit in bnotepad...
Save it to a floppy as eircomnet.ins-then to set up your parents pc-double click it...

    You can do it through

Start Run Inetwiz and follow the prompt from there
the Dial up number you use is 1892150150

    Simple easy and straight forward
