Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys, hope this is the right forum for this, apologies if its not.

Im not Netsource, have two XP machines going through the D-Link DSL 504 no probs.

I now have a win 98 machine i want to go on the net with.

Its all hooked up, and the computer is on the network ok, but how do i get it to actually go on the internet?

I can ping the router ok, but i cant use internet explorer to get the web management screen up, like i can with the XP machines.

I'm sure this is something really obvious, but i just cant figure it out.

    Thanks,

    DangerMan

    apologies, it was simple.

just switched the dial up to never dial, changed the LAN settings to auto detect.

    sorry,

guess this thread can be deleted...
