3650 infra red problem

I have a 3650 and its on the 085 network, so i cant d/l java games/ringtones via wap.

But someone told me that i can download them to my PC and send them to the Phone via infra red,

Can anyone tell me how to do this?

what program do i need so i can send the game/ringtone ?

what version of windows are you using?

in on the Phone in the Connectivity Menu option you can see an Infrared icon, select it and point the phone at the infra-red port on the PC

on XP/2000 when you have the phone in range of the infra-red port on the PC you can select the icon in the system tray / desktop and Transfer Files to it that way

they arrive in the phone's inbox and (if the phone recognises the file) it will deal with it - e.g. ask if you want to install if it's a symbian application

another way to transfer files, is when the IR link is up you should be able to right click on the file and use "Send To"
