Neo-Nazis held over armed plot

NEO-NAZIS arrested in Germany with explosives and weapons are suspected of plotting a bloodbath at the site of Munich's new Jewish synagogue to mark Hitler's Kristallnacht.

Police say the group was planning attacks for the 65th anniversary of Kristallnacht or 'the night of broken glass', with President Rau to lay the foundation stones for a synagogue, school and community centre due to open in 2005.

Nine people were detained. Nearly 30lbs of explosives along with machine guns, pipes, hand grenades, ammunition and detonators were seized in raids in the city.

The alleged ringleader arrested in Munich was 27-year-old Martin Wiese, an infamous figure on the far-right from the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, formerly in the communist east.

Police say the arms came from his home state.

On November 9, 1938, Jewish homes, businesses and places of worship across Germany were ransacked in what was dubbed Kristallnacht. Dozens were murdered and thousands put in concentration camps.

Wiese's Southern Comrades Club is estimated to have around 30 members who are part of a European neo-Nazi computer network.

The plan was apparently foiled after a member in Munich was bashed for trying to get out of the plot and went to police.

Police said that their raids thwarted a fledgling guerrilla war campaign.

That is not a good indication - the WNP, a more extreme version of the BNP (ie all their members were thrown out of the BNP for being too extreme) are up to their old tricks too.

In Ballymena, Antrim and Coleraine, they have began their activities again with leaflet drops and a small rally which according to several sources amounted between 40 (WNP source) to about 10 (Irish News) attendees.

If people remember, they started up back in 1985 and organised a parade in Coleraine - the Socialist Party, then called Militant, organised the Unions and several hundred people marched the next weekend in an anti-fascist protest - this is the first time the WNP have shown themselves since then.

At the risk of being accused of indulging in political correctness by some upper class twit apologist for fascism, I ask where are stormfront's "useful idiots" now? They normally pop up here to lambast anyone for mildly flaming this class of braindead scum instead of inviting them round for tea and cucumber sandwiches and engaging them in rational debate or something.
