Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What kind of ADSL router/modem is supplied with Esat's Business ADSL service and how Linux compatible is it?

Ericsson hm230dp the DHCP fucntion is disabled so it is puerly a modem not Hub

Its bridged PPPoA RFC1483LLC SNAP BRIDGED so basically your NIC does the IP and the VPI(0)/VCI(35) settings are hardcoded to memory on the modem.

    Modulation G-DMT

Is it always VPI/VCI = 0/35 for ESAT Business?

I thought that Esat used different settings depending on the exchange (for their bridged product, not the RADSL offering).

I'd suggest you go to ftp.esat.net and start downloading a linux iso to check your speed

127KB to ftp.esat.net. Ripe.net varied between 112K and 120K. A US site only returned 57KB. Still not too bad. Some problems with Windows but Linux seems to be rock solid. Need to start the main tests now.
