Customer interaction and proper treatment is useless. Has no effect whatsoever, nah......

Well done to Scott and the crew. No doubt there was a few swift ones over the weekend ;)

Great stuff. Pity that the Rat will not allow companies like U.TV Internet have cheap wholesale rates.

As that is now clearly needed more than ever for the introduction of a fairly priced fixed monthly fee Broadband Service.

Well done U.TV and lets not forget IrelandOFFlines* sterling work.

"We're very happy," Scott Taunton, CEO of UTV Internet, told ElectricNews. "Turnover is up 70 percent, with large increases in profitability, largely due to the launch of our FRIACO services and broadband products."

UTV attributed its new media revenue growth to its growing Internet customer base, particularly in the Republic of Ireland, where it introduced a new range of flat-rate products. "There's been a step change in essence in the Republic," said Taunton, "Now more than half of our revenues come from our customers in the Republic, it was always the other way around."

...and I think IOFFL can take a large chunk of the credit for boosting the coffers of UTV while denying eircon much of that same increase in turnover!

    Two birds, one stone Cool!

    Mike.
