I live bang in the center between Dundalk, Cavan, Monaghan and Navan. All roughly 30 miles from here. Same with smaller towns like Carrick, Bailieboro, Kingscourt, Cootehill, Ballybay. I'm from Shahak!

Only 5 miles from a national route! :)

Just off the beaten track.... Shercock has no answer to this. :D

Plus, Moynalty is just 3 points off the national winner in the Tidy Towns... 2004 will be our year!!

    GOE GOE MOYNALTY!!

Carrick is close to Shercock, there is a national route there. And also there is proposed plans to build a national route from Sligo to Dundalk through Shercock.

    Shercock owns Moynalty.

Moynalty is closer to Kells on the N3 than Shercock in relation to Carrick on the N2. And they'd have to level a few drumlins first to get a decent new road in.

And where did Shercock come in the Tidy Towns? Nowhere. Even fabulous places like Gowna, Redhills, Killeshandra and Cootehill bheat the shíte outta Shercock. And Moynalty got more points than them.

Oh yes, bow down in front of meh, Moynalty is soooo much better.

Just one question, where are you currently studying? If Dundalk is full of hicks and you are studying there, what does that makes your home town? Did someone mention the movie Deliverence?

Ballyhaise has a college too, people study there. Still doesn't mean that it isn't a hick town/village. :D
