Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

That SHOULD be done here...I think that there is very little doubt to that effect. What does the Consumers Association say???!!!!! "We're thinking about it". That was almost two years ago.

From what I can obtain from the Consumer's Association's stance on this sort of thing, it is believed that such action is counter productive, or harmful to the economy or somesuch.

So in so far as I can tell, if Ireland wants to do something similar, the primary driving force will not be the Consumer's Association.

Do you have an opinion as to what/who would be?

    That is difficult to say.

Perhaps lobbying the Consumer Association would change it's mind, perhaps not.

An alternative independant organisation would have the will, but, not sufficient credibility or exposure to encourage a nationwide stoppage, at least, at the outset it would not.

Probably the only route is enunciation of a pressure group.
