im quite perplexed. I never noticed this before, although noticed that Quake sensitivity varies with windows sensitivity.
A few weeks ago, in Sep's he had a high windows sens - and his quake mouse control was fecked - i thought it was hid unfamiliar logitech mouse.
Now, i tried jackin up the win sens and lowering the mouse sens to find a state of equilibrium, and it certainly controlls differently, like the quake engine is trying to compensate for the difference in sensitivity...try it for yourself if u dont know what im on about - the same for the situation vice versa...its all weird

Anyone know whats the sceal here ?

    Rockin song that Jamie.

And yes, Windoze sensativity does make a difference. One thing to watch out for is that mouse accelleration thing that Intellimice have - that'll really screw yer game up!!! curlydav.gif

    no no no

    This is what you do.
If you have a logitech mouse load up the
mouse software and goto the mouse speed bit,
put the acceleration of the mouse all the way down and put the speed about half way then in
quake adjust "sensitivity" accordingly. This leads to a high state of shaftiness.

    Slaan.

Kharn i think you are refering to machine head the "song" by bush(who suck)
and i think sep is refering to machine head the metal "band" (who rock your hairy anus)

QW takes sensitivity off the Windows settings and bases the SENSITIVITY command in Quake around that.

Windows mouse acceleration affects it as well.
