I have an interview for a kitchen porter job tomorrow and I need a little advice. I know this sounds stupid but what should I wear? I don't want to be going in wearing a suit for a job like this.

What do I say when they say tell me a little about yourself? I am not in any clubs, I don't have any work experience so how do I answer this?

And, when they ask me do I have any questions what should I ask?

Also, any more questions they might ask me so I can preper?

    Thanks.

I agree that a suit sounds a little excessive, but do wear a smart long sleeved shirt and maybe a tie. (No cartoon ties either). Clean polished shoes and have a shave. All the usual things.

Just don't get too anxious, and you'll be fine.

Well, dress smartly, like, Sunday best. Clean shaven of course. Firm handshake and a big smile are necessities!
Explain that you have no experience but you are willing to learn and are very enthusiastic. State that you are friendly, fast working, you don't stress easily (important for kitchen job). Sound interested in the job and ask questions, make it sound like you are interested in starting your career with them even if now you only plan on staing a few months.
They won't ask anything too taxing, I would imagine that basically they want to check out your personality and appearance. They might ask what you think the job would require, and like I said, mention thinking and acting quickly, having an optimistic outlook and a good work ethic, and the fact that you would need to get on with people.
You don't need to be a member of any clubs to have interests. Mention music?Movies?Socialising?Dining out?Computing?Gaming?Reading?
Good luck, I hope this helped.
