    Here are the settings for o2 contract for mms gprs and pop3, anyone with other network settings please add.

    1.E-Mail Function
    2. WAP over GPRS and GSM
    3. MMS Messaging/Picture Messaging.
    Please find provided the settings for these
    The Email settings provided are for an o2.ie email address,

    Email on The Panasonic GD87 for Speakeasy Customers
    Select Menu.
    Select Messages.
    Select E-Mail.
    Select Server List.
    Select a Profile and edit.
    Profile Name - o2 e-mail - Save
    Mail Address - Your full email address - Save
    SMTP Server - smtp.o2.ie - Save
    POP3 Server - pop3.o2.ie - Save
    POP3 Account - Leave Blank - Save
    Password - Your password for your email account - Save
    Mail Delivery - Delete Message
    Bearer Type - Circuit switch- set
    (You then have to click on Bearer type again, then circuit switch and select edit)
    Digital Dial +353866066020
    Analog Dial : +353866066020
    Circuit Type : Analog
    User ID - register@o2.ie
    Password - guest
    Primary DNS - 062.040.032.033
    Secondary DNS - 062.040.032.034
    Then Press "C" once.
    Then Press the Menu Key on your Profile Name "o2 e-mail" and Set. Now you can send and receive your mail.

    Email on The Panasonic GD87 for Bill Paying/Contract o2customers

    Select Menu.
    Select Messages.
    Select E-Mail.
    Select Server List.
    Select a Profile and edit.
    Profile Name - o2 e-mail - Save
    Mail Address - Your full email address - Save
    SMTP Server - smtp.o2.ie - Save
    POP3 Server - pop3.o2.ie - Save
    POP3 Account - Leave Blank - Save
    Password - Your password for your email account - Save
    Mail Delivery - Delete Message
    Bearer Type - GPRS - set
    (You then have to click on Bearer type again, then GPRS and select edit)
    Access Point Name : internet
    User ID : user
    User Password : Leave as ********** or if blank leave it blank.
    Authentication : Normal
    (then press the C button to come back out of the gprs settings back to the mail settings)
    Primary DNS - 062.040.032.033
    Secondary DNS - 062.040.032.034
    Then Press "C" once.
    Then Press the Menu Key on your Profile Name "o2 e-mail" and Set. Now you can send and receive your mail.


    To Set up GPRS on the Panasonic GD87.
    Select Menu
    Scroll to Browser
    Select Server List
    Pick O2 Gprs Sec (The set's could be named differently)
    Settings are as follows:
    Profile Name - o2 gprs
    Home URL http://www.o2.ie
    Linger Time - 120
    Gateway IP - 192.168.090.074
    Security - Sec/Non Sec
    Bearer Type - Gprs, press edit on gprs and the following options default:
    Access Point Name - wap.dol.ie for Contract/Bill Paying o2 customers OR pp.wap.o2.ie for Speakeasy/Card Phone users.
    User ID - Blank
    User Password - Blank
    Authentication - Normal
    Press "C" 3 times to return to the server list
    Pick O2 Gprs Sec (may be named differently) and press Set
    17. To launch the wap browser press Menu - Browser and click Start Browser

    MMS Settings for the Panasonic GD 87
    1.Select Messages (press select)
    2.Select MMS (press select)
    3.Server list (press select)
    4.Select a profile (press menu and edit)
    5.Profile name: o2 mms
    6.Server url: <http://mmsc.mms.o2.ie:8002>
    7.Gateway IP: 192.168.090.074
    8.Bearer type: GPRS
