    How about this for a novel idea.
    In London the congestion charge is monitored not by paying at a gate.
    They take a photo of your reg.
    Why the hell cant they do this on the toll bridge.
    All they have to do is remove the toll gates completey. Set up cameras between the Lucan and Blanchardstown exits.
    You pay with your phone within 12 hours or have it debited or pay at a shop somewhere in the city.

    Then they can work it EXACTLY the same as the brits work the congestion charge in london.

    No more stopping at the bridge, which it what causes the congestion.
