yes, it was. and the proof is that "you know that seinfeld where . . ." or "this is like that seinfeld where . . ." is an accepted sentence in the english (or at least the american) language.

and add futurama, dammit. the simpsons is excellent, yes, but matt groening's cartoon is not the be-all and end-all of television.
and add that 70s show. because...well....because.

Carlsberg - Flatmates
Guiness - the one with the guy dancing around the pint from back in the day
Budweiser - with louie and that other cameleon, and the frogs.
Sprite - all. fkn class.

Drink companies seem to be the best. some of the cigarette ads from back in the day were hilarious, if not stupid.

ye drink ads roc. the worst are those hair ads...you no,... with pro vitiman serotin x 9, my dull, lifeless hair becomes blah blah blah.

The best ad I ever saw was one I found on the internet. It was french so no wonder I hadn't seen it here.
It just showed a man going around a super-market with his kid. The kid grabs a big bag of sweets and shoves it in the trolley (as we do) The dad removes it and the kid does it again, this time pouting with his arms folded, and once again the dad removes it. Now the kid starts crying and screaming about wanting the sweets, lying on the floor kicking and screaming, running about throwing everything off the shelves while everyone stares at the embaressed father. Suddenly a voice-over says (I think the name of them was Zulu or something) "Zulu condoms! Fun..sexy...safe!"

I miss family guy. It never seems to be on anymore. And when I do see it, it's usually the edited channel 4 version. Grrr. I must eat someone for this.
