Quakefest'99 Ep I

ok so there is some intrest in a little old Fest,

ok here is what i need,

1. an approx figure of people to attend from Ireland, yes i said Ireland.

2. I have sent some feelers out for the rest of Europe and beyond,

3. Quake 1/2/3 will be the main attractions, also tribes a a few other games may be played , depending on the amount of good response i get.

4. I'm hoping for sometime in August not the bank holiday.

5. At the moment i have confirmed approx 60 Pc's, but im hoping for a few more.

err yeah ..ill explain for the hard of thinking.. No Personel PC'S will be allowed this is a few companys supplying machines and maybe a server or 2

this is gonna be a NON whinge, gripe, mines better then yours FEST !! All the pc's will be the same spec ..

Sorting out 60 PC's with non hacked Quake and all the proxies for all three episodes of the game is gonna be a *****. Wanna make sure u got a nice long setup period.

Get the server sorted out decades of time before hand, remember original Qfest and QP.

Are you gonna allow ppl to bring their cfg's?
If so, u prolly don't want 60+ disks from nowhere entering those Company's machines.

If u're goin abroad, u're gonna need a web page, with info directions accomadation issues and ****.

You'll also need all the help you can get!?!
